Most of the guys i have dated in my life time have been starwars fans. me?? not so much.

i have a problem with the fact that there are six of them. but that the first one is the third one. and that the first three look newer and the people look better developed than the second three.

because seriously? if he wanted to make six, he should have made six.

i have a problem with enterprise because it's supposed to be from before the kirk era, but looks much newer and spankier, and the equipment is far more advanced.

now, i do agree, that the effects were bad ass as far as the 70's are concerned...

but seriously... prequels suck... so do sequels that occur 20 years after the fact (like lady and the tramp 2, or cinderella 2) again i say - if he wanted six, he should have made six.

matt says i just need to give them a chance, but, i watched the first one three times in my life.

that's six hours i'm never gonna get back. EVER!!

also. adding special effects that are so obviously 21st century to a movie that has special effects that are so obviously 1970's (i.e. highlighter, models, NO COMPUTER ANIMATION WHATSOEVER!) is. not. cool.

what coolness the movie DOES contain is in the fact that it's got special effects that are way ahead of it's time - and are so cheesy... adding more that look SO out of place makes it look like they're re-doing it so people will buy it to see it... thus - they are just trying to make money.

anyhoo...

i dont like starwars, but i put up with it. and i do sometimes like the video games, so dont hassle me if one day you walk into my house and i'm flying the millenium falcon and shooting the shit out of those (-) shaped fighters... i like shooting shit...

and i love Foxtrot. and some of my favorite strips are the star war ones. but i think that's just cuz i foxtrot is funny, and they're good at making something so irritating funny
