remember when i said "pyrex is a girls best friend"?

i lied

my lasagna pan exploded last night... in my hands...

i know what i did, i heated only the center, while it was sitting on the burner, and it got stressed and exploded. it left behind a perfectly round piece of glass as proof.

BUT... since i always want to know everything about everything, i've been researching on the internet...

lots of people have had this happen, but when the pan was already in the oven, or long cooled off.

i'm afraid of pyrex now
